The government of the Village includes four major councils and boards:
• The Village Council
• The Village Planning Commission of Almont
• The Zoning Board of Appeals
• The Almont Parks and Recreation Board (Note: This is a joint board between the Village and Almont Township)
Information regarding these boards can be found in the menu to your left. This menu also contains links to the DDA board as well as to the homepage for Almont Township, which delivers fire protection and tax assessing services for Village residents and investors.
The
Village of Almont is currently accepting letters of interest to fill two (2)
vacancies on its Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals.
The
Planning Commission meets on the first Thursday of each month. The Zoning Board of Appeals meets the second
Thursday of each month.
Individuals
with industrial, recreational, educational, environmental, public health,
governmental, transportation, commerce or other similar backgrounds are
encouraged to apply.

Appointment
