Open Meetings Act Notice

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Act 267, Public Acts of 1967, effective March 31, 1977, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Almont, County of Lapeer, State of Michigan, will hold its Regular Meetings in the Municipal Building located at 817 N. Main Street, Almont, Michigan. The Board of Zoning Appeals has reserved the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. for regular meetings. However, the board meets only as needed, and a meeting may not be held each month. Please refer to the Village Calendar for meeting dates.

Board Openings

The Village of Almont is currently accepting letters of interest to fill vacancies on its Zoning Board of Appeals. The Zoning Board of Appeals meets the second Thursday of each month. Individuals with industrial, recreational, educational, environmental, public health, governmental, transportation, commerce or other similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
