Are you passionate about community events and village pride? The Village of Almont Homecoming Committee is looking for dedicated volunteers and community leaders to help plan our historic Homecoming Festival — held once every five years!

What We Do:
The Committee is responsible for organizing, managing, and bringing to life one of Almont’s most cherished traditions. From parades and reunions to fireworks and fundraising, this is your chance to shape an unforgettable celebration for our community.

We’re Looking For:

• Enthusiastic community volunteers
• Organized and creative individuals to serve as sub-committee chairs
• Residents with a heart for service and a knack for event planning
• Anyone who loves Almont and wants to give back

Key Roles Available:

• Fundraising
• Events Planning
• Parade Organization
• Queen Pageant
• School Reunions
• Additional volunteer opportunities in logistics, safety, and more

Requirements:

• Membership is subject to Village Council approval
• Commit to attending meetings and contributing actively
• Adhere to the Michigan Open Meetings Act and Village policies
• Serve on a 5-year term cycle with regular planning responsibilities
